# Iran War Map

> Iran War Map is a free, real-time open-source intelligence (OSINT) dashboard that monitors the Iran–Israel military conflict. It provides a live theater map, structured event feed, AI-generated 12-hour situation briefings, and integrated Polymarket prediction market odds for researchers, journalists, and analysts.

## What We Do

- Aggregate OSINT from Telegram channels, news wires, and social media into structured, geolocated events updated every two minutes.
- Generate AI situation briefings every 12 hours summarizing key military and diplomatic developments.
- Display live prediction market odds from Polymarket for Iran–Israel conflict markets, with independent probability estimates.
- Provide an interactive map with military asset overlays, risk zones, and event markers across the Middle East theater.
- Offer an AI Q&A assistant ("Intel AI") that answers questions using the site's own event database and briefing archive, not the open web.

## Data Sources

- Curated Telegram OSINT channels covering the Middle East conflict
- News wire feeds and social media (Twitter/X) accounts
- Polymarket prediction market API for conflict-related markets
- LLM-based event parsing, briefing generation, and probability estimation

## Update Cadence

- OSINT scraper: every 2 minutes
- Event feed: refreshes every 60 seconds in the browser
- Prediction markets: sync every 5 minutes
- AI briefings: generated every 12 hours, permanently archived
- Tension levels: computed live from recent event severity and frequency
