1. Nature of the Service

Iran War Map ("the Service") is an experimental, beta-stage product. It provides a live map, OSINT feed, AI-generated briefings, and an optional AI Q&A feature ("Intel AI"). The Service is offered for informational and educational use only. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

2. No Warranties; "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

3. AI Content and Assessments

Briefings, Intel AI answers, summaries, and any other AI-generated content on the Service are produced by automated systems. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or wrong. They are not professional advice (legal, financial, military, or otherwise) and must not be relied upon for any critical or life-safety decisions. You use AI-generated content entirely at your own risk. We disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your reliance on AI content or assessments provided by the Service.

4. Map, Feed, and Data

Events, map data, and OSINT feeds are aggregated from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Do not rely on the Service for operational, safety, or decision-making purposes. For life-safety or official decisions, always use authoritative local or official sources.

5. Payments and Purchases

Optional purchases (e.g., Intel AI credits) are processed by Stripe. Your payment and billing relationship for such transactions is with us, but payment processing is handled by Stripe under their terms. We are not responsible for Stripe's actions, failures, or policies. Purchased credits are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion. Disputes regarding charges should be raised with us; chargebacks and payment disputes may also be subject to Stripe's dispute process. We are not liable for any loss arising from payment processing, failed transactions, or billing errors beyond our obligation to deliver the digital goods (e.g., credits) you purchased.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE (AND OUR OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.

7. Your Responsibility

You use the Service at your own risk. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws. You must not use the Service for any illegal purpose or in any way that could harm the Service or others. We are not responsible for how you use the information or tools provided.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

Iran War Map ("we," "our," or "the Service") is an experimental beta app. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Data We Collect

• IP address: Used for rate limiting (e.g., free Intel AI question limits), abuse prevention, and security. We may store hashed or truncated IP data to enforce limits.
• Account data (optional): If you sign up, we store email, display name, and country/code. This is used to manage your account, sign-in, and credit balance for Intel AI.
• Payments: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Stripe may collect and process payment data in accordance with their privacy policy. We receive and store minimal transaction data (e.g., that a purchase occurred, credit amount) to deliver credits and support.
• Usage: When you use Intel AI, we may store your questions and our responses in association with your session or account for operational and improvement purposes. We may use logs (e.g., errors, performance) to run and improve the Service.
• Cookies and similar tech: We use cookies or similar storage for session and authentication (e.g., keeping you signed in, storing preferences). We may use analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) that set their own cookies, subject to their policies.

3. How We Use Data

We use the data above to operate the Service, enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, process payments (via Stripe), deliver and account for Intel AI credits, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Third Parties

We rely on third-party services such as Stripe (payments), hosting and infrastructure providers, and possibly analytics (e.g., Google Analytics). Those providers have their own privacy policies. We do not control their practices. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these third parties as needed to run the Service.

5. Retention and Security

We retain data as long as needed to operate the Service, enforce limits, and comply with law. We use reasonable measures to protect data, but no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to or restrict processing. To request access or deletion, contact us at the email below. You can stop using the Service at any time. For payment-related requests, Stripe's policies and processes may also apply.
